Accurate Temperature Control Wins Refrigeration Unit Contract for Marshall

Cambridge, 2nd August 2011: Specialist pharmaceutical distribution and storage company Polar Speed Thermologistics has selected Marshall Fleet Solutions to provide refrigeration equipment and servicing. Five Thermo King V200 Max TC 50 systems and three V300 Max TC50 systems are being supplied by Cambridge-based Marshall for fitting into design-specific dual compartment vehicles.

Highly accurate temperature control was one of the critical reasons the Thermo King range was selected by Polar Speed. Their vans need to operate at two highly precise positive temperatures, for the protection of the temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products that the company distributes all over the UK. Every vehicle is fitted with calibrated onboard temperature recorders.

Marshall Fleet Solutions is also providing a 24/7 back-up service nationally to Polar Speed via its Fleet Management system. “We have a good working relationship with Polar Speed; we understand their stringent requirements and know that we can deliver the solutions that work for them,” said Andrew Howells, Managing Director of Marshall Fleet Solutions.
